Tour
conception
With 368 secondary volcanoes, Korea's tallest Mountain - Mt.
Halla - and numerous islets, hiking is an excellent and practical
way to explore Jeju Island. Some of our trails go through areas
recently designated by UNESCO as a Biosphere
Reserve. Under this status are Mt. Halla National Park,
Seogwipo Marine Park (Sopsom Islet, Munsom Islet, Sesom Islet,
Pomsom Islet and marine area around them) and ancient riverbed
of Hyodonchon River.
Our Hiking eco programs are a combination of
- unforgettable craters,
- fantastic views of Jeju's coast.
You will stay 4 nights in a tourist hotel in the small city
of Seogwipo with only 80,000 population, and we will shuttle
the group every day to the hiking starting point and back. Great
hiking and comfortable accommodation!
Activity: normally we hike 4-5 hours per day
Difficulty: average - you do not need much hiking experience,
just be in average physical condition.
Tour focus: Jeju's unique nature and local culture

Secondary
craters hiking
Jeju is proud to be an island with the biggest number of secondary
craters - there are 368 and all are unique. All craters are
inactive, 100-700 m high. Craters are all over the island, and
2 craters are located on the islets near Jeju. |
| Coastal
trails
give you a great opportunity to find numerous
lava stone forms, to explore various coastal micro organisms
and to see women divers who catch seafood without using any
diving equipment (just wetsuit, mask and fins). |
