Rosalee & I had a wonderful & relaxed tour in Jeju with Victor!  Just what I needed.  I really wish we would have stayed another day or two...  We met a great group of people from Southeast Asia on the second day (some staying longer than us).  I really connected well with them. It was a shame to say goodbye at the end of the day! 

Jeju is a wonderful & beautiful place...different from the rest of Korea, I felt. The Korean people there are very laid back (the FEW I saw - which is rare to have such SPACE).  I had a great time visiting the waterfalls, craters, the Jeju Bada with its subtropic creatures to see, lovely black & white sand beaches, lava rock shores & estuaries, agricultural countryside & orchards.  All this variety adds so much to the land itself, making Jeju a  fastinating place to visit & gives it a unique & peaceful atmosphere.  I particularly loved exploring and experiencing the Jeju scenery because of it being a volcanic island, which is a first for me. 

I would recommend instead of wide-brimmed hat and long sleeves for 
summer- early fall season to be prepared by wearing quick-drying clothes to swim in (and maybe extra clothes to change into later in the day) because it was great getting in the water any chance we got!  On the second day, I wasn't sure we would be in the water so didn't wear the suit & clothes that could dry fast and really wish I had! John, another on the tour, was prepared and he had quite a time jumping off the raft into the Estuary for a quick swim & race w/ the raft "driver"! :)  

Jeju was an experience I won't forgot - great memories and people!
