Underwater Jeju Autumn

Korean Underwater Photo Contest is held on Jeju every year in November, the autumn season is traditionally well-known for the best visibility and lots of fish. This year this underwater contest took place from 1st to 4th of November.

The most colorful part of Jeju underwater are the soft corals landscapes. Jeju Island has been indicated as northern distribution limit of many soft corals (Octocorallia) in Korea. The nature of sea water and condition of habitats in the region appear to confine the soft corals to Jeju Island.
