Here in Korean mountains you can experience Buddhist Temple Stay, when guests wear Buddhist monk clothes, participate in Buddhist ceremonies, meals, meditation and daily routines.

Day City, (meals) Itinerary
1st day Seoul Arrive in Incheon airport, pick up and transfer to your downtown hotel in Seoul.
2nd day Seoul, Songnisan (B) Leave Seoul for to Songnisan National Park, visiting Beopjusa Temple built in 553A.D., displaying many famous artworks, including the oldest wooden building in Korea and a stone lantern. Overnight in Songnisan NP.
3rd day Gyeongju
(B)
Drive to Gyeongju National Park (contains several UNESCO World Heritage sights). Visit Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto. Overnight in Gyeongju.
4th day Gyeongju
(B)
Visit Namsan Mountain (Gyeongju National Park) with numerous stone Buddhas carved on the rocks dating back to the 7th century. Move to Golgulsa temple – the only temple in Korea built in the cave. Overnight in Golgulsa temple with vegetarian food, meditation etc. (sleeping on the mattress on the floor).
5th day Gayasan
(B)
After morning meditation see the Buddhist monks training famous Buddhist Martial Arts ‘Sunmudo’. Drive to Gayasan National Park, visit Haeinsa Temple containing Tripitaka Koreana (one of the most significant complete Buddhist texts in the world) – National Treasure No 32. Temple Stay in Haeinsa Temple.
6th day Busan, Jeju
(B)
Drive to Busan. Visit Jagalchi Seafood Market (find here all types of underwater creatures). Flight to Jeju Island. Visit the Mystery Road where the cars roll uphill with the engine turned off (Hallasan National Park).
7th day Jeju
(B)
Explore Hallasan National Park with Mt. Halla, the highest peak in S. Korea or one of the volcanic craters. Taste fresh green tea at Green Tea Plantations.
8th day Jeju
(B)
Wild Orchids and Bonsai Park. Seaside Waterfall. Jeju Folk Village (go back in time and see how the Jeju people lived years ago). Temple Stay inYakcheonsa Temple, which contains more than 80.000 golden statues of Buddha.
9th day Jeju, Seoul
(B)
Return to Jeju airport by limousine bus. Jeju to Seoul flight.
